Newburgh, N.Y. – Upon the appointment of Jessica Mushel to the position of Director of Athletics at Mount Saint Mary College, assistant softball coach Samantha Howe has been tabbed to lead the program that has won the last two Skyline Conference Championships.

Said Howe, "I would like to wish Coach Mushel luck in her new position as Athletic Director and I look forward to the opportunity to continue to build a strong, competitive softball program.  I am excited take on this new challenge here at Mount Saint Mary College."

In addition with her work with the Knights, Howe has also served as an instructor with Extra Innings in Wappingers since 2009 and held the post of Head Junior Varsity Coach at John Jay High School-East Fishkill in 2013.
