Findlay Nets Seven as Mount Closes Season at Wells

AURORA, N.Y. – Mount Saint Mary College freshman Nick Findlay (Elmont, N.Y.) scored seven times as the men’s lacrosse team lost to Wells College on Saturday, 18-9. The Knights close out the season with a record of 2-10.

Wells led 9-1 at the half with the lone goal for the Mount scored by freshman Andrew Pullen (Farmingdale, N.Y.). Junior Dan Hunt (Skaneateles, N.Y.) scored five times for the Express in the first half.

Findlay opened the second half scoring and single-handedly brought the Knights back into the game. With two consecutive goals, the freshman pulled the Knights to within six at 14-8.

Findlay finished with seven goals and an assist, while Pullen totaled two goals and an assist. Senior Joe Costello (Geneva, N.Y.) recorded four helpers for the Knights.

Censi Danner
Women's Swimming
Senior Censi Danner was named the Skyline Conference Swimmer of the Year on Saturday while leading the Knights to the Skyline Conference championship, the team's third in the last five years.  Danner won all three of her individual events including the 50 freestyle (25.79), the 100 freestyle (57.74), and the 200 individual medley (2:21.27).    The senior also swam the anchor leg of the winning 400 freestyle relay, which set a Skyline meet record with a time of 4:00.36.
Meghan Seaman

Freshman Meghan Seaman was named the Skyline Conference Rookie of the Year on Saturday while helping her team to the Skyline Conference championship.  Seaman won a pair of individual titles, including the 200 freesyle (2:11.13) and the 1,000 freestyle (12:15.07).  The rookie also finished second in the 100 freestyle (1:00.76) and swam the leadoff leg of the winning 400 freestyle relay, which set a Skyline meet record with a time of 4:00.36.
